Minor Burns

Minor burns can result from contact with hot liquids, steam, or surfaces, as well as mild chemical or sun exposure. Even when small, these injuries can be painful and may become infected if not properly treated.

How we can help:

Our providers gently clean and assess the burn to determine its depth and severity. We apply soothing dressings, recommend or prescribe topical treatments, and update tetanus vaccines when needed. We also provide guidance on pain control and proper wound care to promote healing and reduce scarring.

When to call 911:

3rd and 4th degree burns should be evaluated by an Emergency Room. If you are experiencing symptoms of 3rd and 4th degree burns, present to the nearest ER or call 911.
